That mission came alive on July 1st as our CareRipples team participated in Surrey Canada Day 2026, one of the largest community celebrations in the city.

We set up the popular “Hydration Break by Avee Health” booth, offering cold drinks and friendly conversations amid the sunshine, music, and festivities. It was the perfect opportunity to meet people where they were and talk about something that matters to every family: accessible healthcare.

Familiar Faces, New Conversations

Hundreds of people stopped by our booth throughout the day. Some were familiar faces — existing Avee Health patients who excitedly greeted our team. Equally meaningful were the conversations with their families and friends.

Parents, spouses, and caregivers shared how relieved they felt knowing their loved ones could speak with a licensed physician from home instead of spending hours in a walk-in clinic. For many newcomers and long-time residents alike, it was their first clear introduction to virtual care. Watching that “aha!” moment when they realized quality medical support is just a video call away was incredibly rewarding.
